Mr. Cory is a former Chapter 7 Federal Bankrutcy trustee in Nevada and has been appointed Special Master and Receiver by the Eighth Judicial District Court, Clark County Nevada and has served as a Commissioner for the Nevada State Ethics Commission (2012-2016). Mr. Cory is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute, the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association, the Clark County Bar Association, and the John Sherman Myers Society of the Washington College of Law. He is admitted to practice before all courts in Nevada, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals, the Temporary Emergency Court of Appeals, the District of Columbia Circuit Court of Appeals, the United States District Court for the District of Arizona, and the United States Supreme Court.
Mr. Cory was Legislative Assistant to the Honorable Howard W. Cannon, U.S. Senator for the State of Nevada (1977-1980), and federal law clerk for the United States District Court for the District of Nevada (1980-1982).
Mr. Cory’s practice includes a long list of high profile cases such as the Dunes Hotel and Casino, Debbie Reynolds Hotel and Casino, National Airlines, Riviera Hotel and Casino, N & T Associates, Inc. dba: Aladdin Hotel & Casino, and the Santa Fe Hotel and Casino, Jakes Crane and Rigging, Jim L.
